In front of the Pilot's Lounge at the Lake Tahoe Airport just before taking off to return to Bay Area. In my remembrance page I made a reference to the occasional moment of heart stopping, terror rending, pucker factor of 10 type of fun while flying ... this was my moment. I was a young, and cocky, hotshot pilot who pushed the envelope on this day, and, as a result, this was almost the last photograph ever taken of me and my companions. I will never forget the day, and the lesson that I learned well.
